My name is Jorge Pereira, and I am a Computer Science student at Florida International University with a passion for building systems that are reliable, scalable, and clear by design.
Beyond school, I serve as an Operations Manager at JPS Communications Tech, where I work on fiber installs, project structuring, and billing. These responsibilities keep me grounded in real-world constraints such as cost, reliability, and safety.
My guiding principles are simplicity and consistency, which I view as the foundation for efficiency and long-term success.
I see simplicity not as minimalism for its own sake, but as a principle that drives clarity, reliability, and speed. By approaching systems with this mindset, I strive to design solutions that are easy to understand, resilient under pressure, and capable of scaling for future needs.
